Carbon Brushes for electric machine play an extremely important role in the operation of electric machine. That is to say, the efficiency and life of the electric machine is directly influenced by the quality of the brush and the selection of more suitable grade.

Pelican Carbon specialises in the manufacture of all types of standard and auto cut off carbon brushes used in F.H.P. motors such as Portable tools, Vacuum cleaners, Sewing machines and Mixer grinders. We also make Carbon Brushes for Industrial D.C. Motors, Permanent magnet D.C. Motors, Auto Transformers, Slipring motors, Alternators, Techogenerators, Generators, Traction motors & Automobile startors, Viper motors and Dynamos.



Pelican Carbon Sealing Rings and Carbon Vanes are made in a range of carbon materials (carbon-graphite, metal impregnated carbon graphite and resin bonded graphite).

Pelican Carbon Vanes are self-lubricating and are chemically inert and non-toxic. They are totally uneffected by water, most acids, alkalies or oil solvents such as gasoline or paraffin. One of the most important requirements for vane materials is high mechanical strength. Pelican Carbon Vanes meet this requirement.

Carbon Sealing Rings are in use today in the mechanical seals of almost all kinds of rotating prime movers and machines. As examples, in cold and hot- water pumps, in automobile cooling water pumps, in turbines, fuel, lubricating and heating oil and chemical pumps, pumps for heat transfer oils etc.




Dry-running rotary compressors with carbon rotor Vanes are used as compressors and vaccum pumps in, medical equipment, milking machines, vaccum breakes, in printing & packaging machines, in tobacco processing machines and fully-automated plants for cigarette manufacturer etc.
